TechniSourcing Awarded RapidRatings Silver Badge: What It Means for Your Sourcing
RapidRatings has awarded TechniSourcing a Silver Badge, placing the company in the top 35% of rated European suppliers for solvency and financial health. Here is what this rating means in practice for your industrial sourcing.

We are pleased to announce that the international financial analysis firm RapidRatings has awarded TechniSourcing a Silver Badge. This distinction means TechniSourcing ranks among the best-rated European companies for solvency and financial capacity — in the top 35% of suppliers and vendors assessed by the firm. Beyond team pride, this supplier financial rating is above all useful information for your procurement and risk teams.
What the Silver Badge says about TechniSourcing
The Silver Badge reflects three realities of our model:
- A sound financial structure, with no excessive reliance on short-term debt — an essential condition for committing to material purchases and supplier down payments on heavy projects.
- The ability to fund the operating cycle of industrial piping and heavy fabrication projects that tie up cash several months before final invoicing.
- Continuity of service for our clients: ongoing projects do not depend on a fragile financial balance.
For a buyer entrusting us with the manufacture of stainless steel industrial tanks or complex assemblies, it simply means TechniSourcing can carry the project from the first drawing through to site acceptance without transferring financial risk to the client.
Financial strength and subcontracting security
A financial rating does not replace an industrial audit: it complements it. In our project methodology, we apply the same dual-filter logic to our own European suppliers:
1. Financial filter
Review of the last three financial years, debt levels, customer dependency (a workshop drawing 60% of its revenue from a single buyer is structurally fragile) and payment terms in practice.
2. Industrial filter
Verification of actual equipment, welding qualifications, inspection plan and material traceability. This is the core of our quality approach, with non-destructive testing and documented acceptance reports.
Warning signs to monitor in your panel
An annual rating is not enough if you do not track weak signals between assessments. The most reliable ones in industrial subcontracting:
- Longer or larger down payment requests, or a sudden switch to cash payment;
- Turnover of qualified staff (certified welders, workshop manager, quality);
- Repeated unexplained delays on technically simple parts;
- Deteriorating workshop cleanliness and order, an early indicator of under-investment;
- Refusal to share accounts or outdated financial information.
We detail these criteria in our article on warning signs in industrial sourcing.
What we actually do with it
This rating is not a trophy to hang on the wall. It joins our supplier qualification file, alongside our manufacturing partners' certifications and our inspection standards. It is available on request for any buyer who needs to build an internal approval file.
For buyers working in audited environments (aerospace, energy, food processing, pharmaceutical), having a supplier rated by an independent firm simplifies the approval process and reduces qualification lead time.
